However, a Web crawler scraped the paper from a preprint server, and LLMs uncritically accepted the papers—thanking “Professor Maria Bohm at The Starfleet Academy”, “the Professor Sideshow Bob Foundation for its work in advanced trickery”, and “the University of Fellowship of the Ring and the Galactic Triad”—as real.
