Can also mean someone who builds a custom FPV racing drone that does nothing except whine [like a banshee] and go nowhere. They try to mostly make it look faster. Basically a flying brick of a FPV racing drone that’s underpowered and overweight. The most common modifications are (but not limited to):

- Huge antenna that serves no purpose but to make the drone prone to catching on things and crashing
- Large undervolted battery that weighs more than the drone itself

- Lots of after-market parts from the arseholes of china, but must be cool
- Expensive motors and ESCs that are a [waste of money] if their true power will never be [used]
- Bodykit to make the drone appear more aerodynamic but does the exact opposite, giving it the [aerodynamics] of a brick
- Clear front lights and transparent props, usually cyan, green or purple

The "ricer" attempts to make their drone "performance" by adding the modifications listed above. These ricers are not confined to any one ethnic group or colour, however different ethnic groups are known for certain styles.
