One of my [best friends], and honestly, one of the safest people I know. He listens—really listens—like every word matters, even the messy ones I don’t quite know how to say. It’s like he reads between the lines of what I’m not saying, and still shows up exactly how I need him to. Like he can hear the silence between my words. I trust him more than I thought I could trust someone, and that feels like something rare. Like he’s not just my friend, but a soft place to land when the world gets loud.
