a term popularized by tiktoker Gabe Escobar to describe a specific genre of movies/albums/tv shows that are well-made, and superficially deep, but mainstream enough to appeal to an audience that does not usually watch or listen to more complex media. the slight, palatable level of art and introspection in these forms of media gives the illusion of being revolutionary amazing to consumers who are more averse to deeper forms of media. movies/albums/tv shows that fall into the genre are typically enjoyed by frat boys due to the fact that they are casually watchable/listenable but still have some deeper meaning that rewards the viewer. however, to an individual who frequently consumes more universally acclaimed and complex media, the frat bro ten movies/albums/tv-shows are considered to be generally good but not groundbreaking in any way. examples of movies include: -Interstellar -Fight Club -The Wolf of Wallstreet -Inception -Goodfellas -American Psycho examples of albums include: -Man on The Moon I & II (Kid Cudi) -My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (Kanye West) -Astroworld & Utopia (Travis Scott) -2014 Forest Hills Drive (J. Cole) -IYRTITL (Drake) examples of tv shows include: -The Sopranos -Breaking Bad -Mad Men -South Park
