When this contraction of "Yes" and "Not" gained [popularity] on [the Internet] in mid-2018, it simply was meant as a meme-cultured way to say "No." (There was even a changedotorg petition to change "No" to "Yesn't," which was signed by 26,000 people.) Nowadays, the use of "Yesn't" is meant to indicate that the answer to a question isn't entirely "yes" or "no" (i.e. "maybe" or "partially"). Interestingly, this was [the original] intent of the word when it first appeared in 2008 due to Robert Funk. Owing to the two partly-clashing meanings of this word, there are two examples provided.
