A "goth-pop" band, fronted by Megan Burns aka Betty Curse.  The genre of "goth-pop" is a manufactured genre with no relevance to goth or gothic rock  Megan Burns also acted in the film 28 days later.  The debut album "Excuse All The Blood" takes its name from the suicide note left by Death from the black metal band Mahem. This must be very insulting to Death's family and to all black metal fans!!  Her music sounds a lot like Avril Lavigne, but she is more "gothy" in appearance. However, Betty Curse is not a gothic rock band.  By trying (and failing) to combine different genres, she is an insult to goth, pop and black metal.  "I like dressing up. I like drinking wine. I enjoy loneliness. I like romance. I like being in control. I like being submissive. I like reading poetry aloud. I like absinth. I like parisian prostitutes from the early 1900s, true ladies. I like tattoos. I'd like Nick Cave to sing to me as I bled to death. I like making up stories. I like to lie, it makes life more interesting. I LOVE The Eighties Matchbox B-line Disaster. I kill people and sell the bodies. I'm in a band, but then who isnt?"
