It's funny that I have been using this word since the late 90s in my small Pennsylvania town. I can't say if I originated it but I never heard it used before other than by me and my Family. Even some that have come into my circle over the course of life never heard the word either.

So the true definition when I 1st used it was what everyone has pretty written in there [definitions] of it.

My definition has always and will always be

A friend or friends that has been there with you through every struggle or [accomplishment]. Through life and death they have held your hand or been that [shoulder to cry on]. They are the next best thing and sometimes the best thing over real family. They're people that your biological family adopt them an make them a son/daughter, brother/sister, Aunt/Uncle, niece/nephew, or cousin. There isn't an ounce of blood shared between y'all but if they were in need of a transfusion you would give them that ounce if you are a match. You would go to war and die for these people they would do the same. You would go against some biological family for them. That is the true definition of Framily. I have the best Framily in the world. We are [Beautifully] blended (Black, Caucasian, Latino) but we really don't see that, we just see family!
