A person who considers their ‘ecto-Asian’ experience as an advantage to innovate and disrupt Asian markets, capitalising on the growth of the region. This can be a second-generation Indian-American who can use their semi-conservative upbringing and leverage their Western education to develop a unique/superior perspective… or simply a white guy who can order wonton soup in perfect Mandarin. This term was first used by emerging Australian business personality, Aryan Verma. He is active in startups, venture capital and high finance, and runs two global social enterprises.
