A person living in South Jersey's Pine Barrens in the rural towns of Chatsworth, South hampton, Whitesbogs, Browns Mills, Pemberton, tabernacle or whiting that don't affiliate themselves with more developed urban culture indicative of the tri-state area in which they live. Piney's typically looked rugged, rough around the edges, blonde [white people] and give off a hillbilly aura when around more secular and [independent] urbanites. Pineys indulge in activities conducive to their environment, such as: riding dirt bikes, canoeing, smoking pot all day, being uninformed on current topics, despite having [internet] access, all in on traditional family values, and general accessorizing within their bubble of ruraldom. Most make less than 50k a year since there isn't big business in Rural south jersey. Pineys can be generaly good people , but they are many times a victim of circumstance, which explains the drug escapades that plague their towns.
