Hyeja is a newly coined Korean [adjective] word in the late 2010s meaning "good value to the price". The word came from a famous Korean actress 김혜자 (Kim Hye-Ja) who is known for her [benevolent] character in a long-running Korean TV [commercial], "dasida". The term "hyeja" was born from a bento product "kimhyeja dosirak". Named after and advertised by the actress Kim Hye-Ja, The bento was known for its good quality and large quantity. Since then, people started describing other "good value for the price" food as "hyuja food". Even though the terms "hyeja" is most commonly for food, it is also used a lot for any other products or services.
