(Noun, Acronym) Stands for Precision Scheduled Railroading. CSX Rail Road Cooperation implented this into their railroad and it took it's main toll in 2019-2020. It's main purpose was to cut down rail traffic so that it would be less cost to send out trains every day. CSX used this act to abolish trains, change ID codes, and also in this case, merge trains which is now why we can have a train up to 15,000 ft. On the CSX system. This act also took a toll on the foreign power usage. Foreign power is another railroads engines operating on another's railroads tracks. I had not seen BNSF in Folkston for over 2 years because of this. Lastly it was spread nationwide and every other class 1 railroad in the US and possible Canada too implemented this into their systems. This is slowly killing their economy but they haven't figured it out yet.
