Devikas are [manipulative] vile people. They are the epitome of the human embodiment of selfishness and self-centeredness. They end up sweet-talking their way to develop trust of the people around them but make decisions without any well regard for [others]. They have a penchant for gossiping about other people and this is reflected in most of their interactions. They are insecure and worry often about how people may perceive them, and this manifests in the form of excessive defensiveness and an argumentative persona. As a result they seldom develop strong friendships with other people. They often worry if they are not liked by other people, which they are not. This is because they do not deserve that endearment in the first place. It is terrifying to know a Devika. Not scary in the way she thinks, her "dominating" façade is easy to see through. It is terrifying [because you are] no longer able to trust people the same way again. You could do everything right and she'd still be mapping your every move, trying to see where she can use you and mocking you while she's at it. Devikas are constantly unhappy, heavily codependent in their [relationships] since they have no core sense of self. The only identity they have is what they derive from other people. The most apt way to describe them in the simplest terms would be to call them an [emotional vampire]. They will suck the life out of you and you'll never deserve it. Absolutely nobody deserves that.
