Transphobia is a term for [discrimination] against both transgender people and people of other genders aside from male and female. This can [include] people that are nonbinary, bigender, agender and more.

A transphobe is someone who has a hatred or fear of transgender people, often caused by lack of education, generalised fear and important people in their lives being transphobic. Many transphobes believe that their behaviours are acceptable in terms of [discrimination], due to repeating the behaviour they had obtained from their family and/or friends.

Some transphobes use unrealistic hypotheticals to make their morals seem justified, which may also aid in people becoming transphobic. Transphobes can be any age.

Some people may be transphobic due to fear, such as children having their genitalia removed, and men being perverted in female bathrooms.

If you have these beliefs, then perhaps it can be assuring to know the following:
-Transgender people seeking gender reassignment surgery must be over the age of 18 to have the surgery.
-Very few, if any, [transgender woman] are just transgender to be perverted. It may still happen, but they are nowhere near the majority.
