Being an “Ivypaint” is defined as being a musical band of losers that have [absolutely] no idea what they’re doing but still have the time of their lives doing it either way. Usually an Ivypaint spends a lot of time saying things like “Well, when [Luke Hemmings] did this it was because he..” or “Yesterday Awsten Knight posted that he…” and it actually gets pretty freakin redundant. Usually an Ivypaint involves having a vocalist debate vocal harmony ideas with a drummer that has zero vocal talent while also debating pop punk guitar parts with a Polyphia worshiper. But ultimately, when Ivypaint is at its best it creates really fun music involving a group of really fun people who [have a blast] being around each other.
