A HSP is a highly-sensitive person. HSP means that a person is overly sensitive, they feel emotions deeper than people that aren't HSPs. Their environment can overwhelm them, e.g., too much lighting or background noise. They also react strongly to many things, such as insults our things that are "just a [joke]". HSPs are commonly told to "grow a thicker [skin]," "just take a [joke]" or "you're so sensitive,". In many cases, non-HSPs [will] call them crybabies. That's not the case whatsoever, HSPs just feel emotions deeper than other people. They are similar to empaths.
