Right, I'm readin all the negative definitions on here about goths and most of them are probably by people who have never held a real [conversation] with one.

Am I a goth? No I don't consider myself one. The fact that I wear a leather trench, madfish boots and prominently black, does that make me a Goth? I am not a Satanist though, in fact my faith is a little similar to Christianity, but loosley. I have friends from all kinds of tastes - friends that are into the whole r'n'b + hiphop, peple who you could call neds, goths, emo, punk, and these so called 'normals'.

I am a very happy person and do not want to kill myself and have no intention of ever cutting myself, and neither do my friends. Yes I do think about death but only because, in actual fact, it is rather interesting because we have no idea what's going to happen. You can have your own opinion [of course] but no one really knows. It's fun to come up with theories, and it's a good source of [conversation].

If you were to find me on a saturday in Glasgow and to have a [conversation] or hang about with me and my friends who get called 'goths' on a regular basis, you would probably find our company more enjoyable than the one you keep just now, not because I'm being arrogant or anything, but we don't care what [you look like] or what you're into, as long as you open minded and friendly.

So, basically, a goth to me is someone into a culture of sorts. A culture of romance for some, immense music and complete hyperness, but also with [intelligent conversation] every now and then (in my case more often than not courtesy of the almighty bryan). Most goths I know are not depressed or suicidal, but if you were to go up ask them, then it will iritate, so that's probably why you got a mouthfull or a growler. There's nothing wrong with goths, or gothic romanticism or anything like that. And anyone can get depressed, not just goths.
