People in jail shouldn't be dying, [getting hurt], or [getting sick] for no reason or over nothing, but jail isn't meant to become a safe place people want to go, since that would make people want to commit crime. If anything, now that death penalties have either been [abolished] or reduced to injections instead of the more gruesome routes to death, jails are about as safe as they can get already.
