Concord is also known for its great school systems, which are actually better than the ones in towns like Acton, even though Acton likes to think they are just as good (but they are not). People like Louisa May Alcott, Henry David Thoreau, and Ralph Waldo Emerson lived in Concord. Don't mess with kids in Concord, because chances are one of them will grow up to be president.
