Typically, a cocler (KAH-KLER) is someone who is a simp for PC Points by calling out someone (especially someone who is in a position that demands respect) for a slight mishap in speech. Authorities, especially college professors, have been at the forefront of such “vIoLeNcE.” However, nobody is handing out prestige points for making yourself look like a dumbass. They will usually try to change everyone else before glancing inward, and in this PC culture, they will usually get praised for it.
