Their ancestors, during probation modified engines&could lose G-men easily hence;stock car. Their lives/ livelihood are centered around fossil fuels ;leads climate change denial. They're prone to propaganda & often screwed by their own leaders politicians&megachurches. U KNEW THAT. The term redneckscomes from exploited workers. These men were doing the most dangerous jobs in the world. They weren't afraid, part of a huge movement& proudly wore a red bandanna around their necks. (red represents Marxist theory of united workers.) unlike early labor movements, they're bravely out in the open. This laid the groundwork of collective bargaining. That was social progress to be proud of.
