Abbreviation of transmasculine. A person who was assigned female at birth, but who identifies with masculinity more than with femininity. This can among others include trans men, non-binary people and genderfluid people. The term is especially used by people who aren't sure yet in which of these categories they fall. The opposite is transfeminine or transfem.
