While each person's precise meaning is unique to them, there is an underlying [universal] meaning and a set of concepts that determine what a person's meaning is:

1. The [meaning of life] is growth.
2. People grow through their experiences.
3. People are driven to have experiences based on their desires.
4. Their motivations are sustained (or squashed) by their beliefs.
5. Emotions provide feedback as to whether a person is growing or being harmed.
6. Ethics are rules for how people should live to grow without harming others.
7. Support allows people to grow much more effectively than they could by themselves.
8. Choice enables people to determine which growth areas they pursue and how they pursue them.

If a person finds a growth area that they are [passionate] about, pursues the experiences necessary to grow in that area, builds their desire and belief about it, feels "in the [zone]" when they are performing that activity, follows rules so that they do not harm or inhibit others' growth on their journey, helps and receives help to achieve more, and makes deliberate choices to live their lives in the best way that they can, he or she will find meaning in their lives.

The reason why each person's meaning is different is that everyone will have a different set of growth areas and different goals for each area. The [universal] concepts will help them figure out what those are and pursue them optimally.
