The teachers are cocky and associate everything you say back to them as disrespectful, even if you are working with them. One of the only few things you can say to these teachers is Ok or Yes. If its not those you will be punished and either get sent into the hall which is what they call a 'break' but in reality its just for them to get you out of the classroom so they have a reason not to be around you. Or they send you to a office called RIS (restorative intervention supports) which is where you have to wait 5 minutes in the office and then you have to write down definitions, you usually 5-20 normally, Sometimes even 50 or 100 (depends on what you did). These definitions take a long time to complete and takes away precious time to do your class work, which means they are taking away our education and our chances to learn. And when your not doing definitions or sitting out in the hall, you are trying as hard as you possibly can to concentrate, but you just cant. Why cant you concentrate? Kids love to scream of yell in the halls or bang on the walls. All of the yelling is so loud and it sometimes hurts your ears and makes you mad because you cant do ANYTHING. And when one of these kids are having one of their tantrums, they will close the halls so you cant do things such as, switch your class, try to get water, or use the bathroom. It is basically a system where if one kid does something, you have to take the punishment, which is really unfair for all of us.
