A scientific term. Tumblr's Law states that when a Tumblr user directly mentions or implies that a joke is funny, [the joke is] no longer funny. This can be commonly done through saying that a meme is hilarious, but can also be completed through such an action as laughing. When a Tumblr User (commonly self-identified by a person with an active Tumblr account) laughs at something that could be considered humorous, every [living being] within a 5 mile radius instantly stops feeling joy for a short time. After this event, [the joke is] no longer funny, and it can no longer be referenced. The only potential Tumblr Users then have for humor is in creating jokes, but hopefully it is not attempted on Tumblr.
