(southern U.S. slang) A [derogatory term] describing a person, typically a female, who is a self-proclaimed master or guide to the spiritual arts. In reality, they are either scammers preying on the unwitting, or delusional hacks that believe their own nonsense. An example of this would be a white woman posing as a [Native American], running a shop selling "authentic tribal goods." Another example is a fake "[martial arts] master" or "spiritual guru" who cons students into learning an unrealistic fighting art and teaches techniques that are fraudulent and will be detrimental to the user in a combat scenario.
