Chris Lopez is a fictional businessman and politician who resides in Los Santos, a city featured in GTA V. He is shown to be very [hypocritical], corrupt and mischievous. He’s often involved in illicit activities while serving in public office, and manages to cover it up. Chris is also involved in [questionable] business practices.

He works for a company in the city when he’s not in politics. The company has ties to the pornography industry and is regularly involved in illicit activities as well. He started work for the company as a cab driver, and quickly went through the ranks, [eventually] landing the spot of COO. He assists the company with crimes, despite being a former police officer, the reason for this is unknown.

Chris is always looking for any ways to gain more power and influence, even sometimes going through unethical ways of achieving that. He started gaining even more power when he first got involved into politics, and that has kept going ever since. Everyone seems to be oblivious to his corruption, no matter how blatant it is. Perhaps most people just don’t care or they somehow haven’t noticed.

However, some people do attack him for corruption, but he profusely denies the accusations every time they’re brought up. The [American people] side with Chris most of the time and he makes the accusers look ridiculous. He goes to great lengths to cover up his corruption, such as bribing authorities or having people killed. He makes [Richard Nixon]’s reputation look amazing.
