Similar castes include Reddies, Velamas, Brahmins, Rajus, Kshatriyas, Rajus, and Vysyas. Kammas are wealthy and a large number live in the US/Can/Aus/UK. There are over 200k Kammas in the US. Kammas are highly educated and hold a lot of land in AP/TG but especially in coastal Andhra. Telugu media and cinema is dominated by Kammas and the current TDP government is also comprised of Kammas at [the highest] levels. Kammas are dominant in many industries and only Reddies, Velamas, and Brahmins are at their level of dominance/wealth. Microsoft's CEO is a Kamma, and there are countless Kamma [millionaires]/[billionaires] across the world. Kammas are successful at [professional] fields such as tech, medicine, and business. They've invested billions of $ towards AP/TG development. Many Kammas are educated and are [professionals], but still remember their rural roots, as every caste was once mostly agricultural. Some Kammas still do work in agriculture but tend to be landowners. Kamma sometimes have the titles chowdary/naidu affixed to their name. Kammas usually vote for the TDP and are fans of NTR/Balakrishna. Kammas are very numerous around Coastal AP but are also numerous in Chittoor and Hyderabad. In the end, every caste in AP/TG is a beautiful and has a glorious past. Kammas are simply one of the many castes that are in the Telugu speaking states.
