Cosmocitizenship From ‘cosmos’ in Greek, meaning ‘world’ and ‘citizenship’. Cosmocitizenship means world citizenship. I coined this world in the mid-1990s as the synonym of cosmopolitanism. I used the term in several papers presented at professional conferences and in some of my publications.
