The prohibitive inability to interface competently with digital and electronic devices, typically but not always associated with the pre-digital native generation; often erroneously attributed to pre-millennials.

Not necessarily dependent on age, but manifests more obviously in a generation unfamiliar with electronic devices. The world is currently entering a phase wherein digital natives (having come of age) are assuming key positions; which serves to magnify the effects of the 'Electric ceiling' among their counterparts.
