Noun Fringe Logic literally means Logic on the fringe of Illogical. A form of thinking or thought patterns that are based on irrational and or tangent based logic. It is a pattern of thinking based on outlandishness and at times denial of real logic or sound reasoning. A good example of this is what goes on in the heads of Conspiracy Theorists. Example: people who believe in a flat earth denying scientific observation over what we have known for hundreds of years because of a perception everything we know is wrong. Another example of fringe logic is when someone drinks poison thinking it will kill whatever is making them sick too leading them to a cure. Fringe Logic is associated with bad ideas and worse implementation. It also applies to counter culture.
