Chronic is not a narcotic, because a narcotic is ADDICTIVE. mary-j is NOT addictive whatsoever. you may like it so much that you want to always do it, but it is in NO way addictive. they say snoops addicted, he's not, he just loves it. Chronic is not a hallucinogen. it does not induce [hallucinations]. It does not affect your CNS and is not addictive. for these reasons, its not a drug. its an amazing thing tho, because you cannot be allergic to it. the first few tiems, its hard to take, cuz the smoke makes you cough, but the feeling is worth it. Marijuana is a favourite drug in this current point in history, it is so that it has almost become socially acceptable to smoke mj. Many rappers sing about and smoke marijuana, including but not limited to, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Eminem, Petey Pablo, 2pac, Biggie Smalls and so on. It was first outlawed [in the early] to mid 1900's in the USA when it was brought over by the mexiacns. in canada, when the [canadian government] was having a meeting to discuss narcotics and drugs, a member of the house of commons said 'we have a new drug to add to the list, Cannabis Sativa' one of the members of parliment asked 'what is this, Cannabis sativa?' to this, the man who first spoke replied that he did not know. They outlawed it by reccomendation by the US government, who knew it had no negative effects on anybody (and it still hasn't been proven that there are, its never killed ANYONE. you CANNOT overdose on weed). the [canadian government] banned weed without even knowing what it is. why's it still banned? old habits die hard ;)
