Banistan Mug
Banistan is a slang parable introduced into speech by Russian mercenaries, which implies a veiled distant country (often the "third world"), where there is a war, armed conflict or other fighting. It is used with a subtext when there is no possibility or need for disclosure a specific geographical location. The etymological meaning comes from the word banana (banana Republic) and the endings "stan", which are common to some countries and regions of the Middle East Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Dagestan, etc. A parallel is also drawn with a Kalashnikov magazine shape that resembles the shape of a banana - therefore, in Banistan on clips, and bananocplips.

This item was ordered as a gift, so you can imagine how happy I was to see it arrive in a box. Not only was it true to order in color and wording but was also without holes and held a strong cup of tea. However, I would not recommend green tea for this mug, or any mug for that matter as I prefer black teas. Emiyah will love it once she decides to return from France bringing her awesome hair and her kind heart and maybe some macaroons. I will put it to use until then and think of her fondly.
