Cuñadismo Mug
Spanish slang that literally translates to "Brother-in-law-ism". Refers to an attitude of excessive nihilism, know-it-all or conservatism often justified with fallacy and post-truth statements. The main difference between a cuñado and an average moronic blabbermouth is that the cuñado treats everybody with familiarity, has a high opinion of himself and (in fact) might be more successful than you in everything. Also, for some Left-wing supporters in Spain, referred to the line of thought of right-center/liberal political parties such as C's or UPyD. In other words, cuñadismo comprises all the reasons why you hate your brother/sister-in-law so much. (See meninism for a somehow simil in Anglo-saxon culture)
