The perpetual tendency to tell bad stories. There is always one person in a group who rambles about some bullshit that happened in their boring life, completely oblivious to the disinterest of those around. Those unlucky enough to be recipients of the seemingly endless Verbal Diarrhea are forced to cough up an occasional polite 'Mm-hmm' and 'Interesting'. Severe cases of Shit Story Syndrome result in prolonged uncomfortable silences, quick change of topic, and the infamous 'cool story bro'.
