Basically defined in today's terms, a patriot is an individual, commonly witnessed in the United States, who has strong belief in his/her government, and will blindly oblige to what the government orders him or her to do. Not knowing that they are already oppressed and losing freedom fast, they "preach" their second amendment, which will soon be gone if no further action is taken to preserve the right. Common misconceptions are that patriots are very closely associated with red-necks and hill-billies. Although this may be true in most cases, patriots exist everywhere. Patriots are more-often-than-not, obligated to join the military for bragging rights.
