Renowned for their long-standing fight for freedom, liberty and democracy, the Kurdish people are the largest ethnic group without a state. Kurdish people number around 32,000,000 strong, and live in a Middle Eastern region known as Kurdistan. These people have been friends of the West for the entirety of the modern era and have enjoyed the support of the West, especially the USA, in their war against terror. Kurds have become renowned for their forward-thinking and views on equality - especially between men and women. Females make up a huge bloc of their army and are in every managerial position in Rojava, Western Kurdistan.
