An intra-laugh is what a person does when they have a laugh to themselves. It is that quiet, internal laugh that a person has when something is funny. You may not even smile when you are having an intra-laugh because you may not want anyone else to know that you are laughing inside. You can have an intra-laugh when you are sitting by yourself thinking or reading and then something funny occurs to you and you may not laugh out loud or even smile but you will feel like you are laughing internally. That is an intra-laugh.
