When you can't count from one to five without thinking about them. When you're gazing at the stars with them and end up focusing on their arm around your shoulders as they point out the constellations. When you phone them asking to meet for coffee at 2am because you can't sleep, and they say yes. When hearing them say your name makes it sound like every other time it must have been spoken wrong.
