In video games, and bottom feeder is a player who achieves high scores by actively seeking out and killing or eliminating the newer players. They are usually not as good as their match making rank or scores would suggest, and they are typically the kind of player who leaves a match when better players join. Bottom feeders are the lowest of the low in videogames, aside from hackers.
