1) A slur coined by radical feminist Natalie Reed targeting violent, oppressive, transphobic cisgender people. In her words, "Short (read: infantilizing) for 'Gender Congruent'. (and also because you have a habit of killing us after it gets dark)". Created due to a) the misguided insistance of cisgender people that 'cis' and 'cisgender' are slurs when in fact they come from the Latin root cis- which serves as an opposite to the Latin word trans-, and b) because no such word of hate towards transphobic people has yet existed within the transgender community. 2) A monster in the classic video game Zork which lurks in the dark, eating adventurers.
