A straight ally is someone who is not part of the LGBT+ minority, but supports their rights and promotes equality for all. They're often related to or know people that aren't cis/hetero/allo, and are found in groups such as the Gay-Straight Alliances. However, the A in LGBTQA does NOT stand for ally; it stands for the arospectrum, often times shortened to arospec, which includes aces, aros, graysexuals, grayromantics, demisexuals, demiromantics, quioromantic, akiromantic, etc. etc.
