Failure Cock - is a term coined by the legendary record producer/songwriter/musician/actor, Kim Fowley. One of his most well known amazing achievements was creating the band and writing the music for the first all girl rock 'n' roll band known as "The Runaways". Kim who was also thier manager co-wrote, the legendary song, "Cherry Bomb", with Joan Jett of whom he discovered as well as Lita Ford, both teenage girls were band members which he conceived and was turned into a major motion picture released by Sony pictures starring, Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart the film is titled "The Runaways"; his/Kim Fowley's character was portrayed by Academy award nominated actor, Michael Shannon. "The Runaways", began in 1975. Failure Cock means, "inadequate low level boyfriend with nothing to offer the girl" - "A man or boy who feels the need to create havoc in a relationship being professional or romantic in order of capturing attention" "Failure cock" as Kim would describe can also relate and be relevant to bad business deals in the music industry.
