A Vellejo is a person of non Hispanic decent, predominately Caucasian that identifies with the coolness and suavamente that comes with being Latino. Vellejos do not necessarily speak Spanish outside "uno mas cerveza" or "donde el bano" and other alike phrases. Although lacking in fundamental Mexican traits a Vellejo does excel in such skills as cooking Latin America cuisine, rocking out to mariachi and metalachi music, and attracting Mexican Americans of the opposite sex.
