Bullnose a type of profile for material such as wood, stone and metal. Bullnose for thinner tiles and metals usually incorporates a "waterfall" or demi" style whereas bullnose profile for thicker material such as granite countertops can also encompass "full bullnose" style. There are several styles of bullnose profile in the stone industry, and those are based on style and size (ie: 1/2" half bullnose versus 3/4" demi bullnose) Bullnosing tiles for trim is extremely popular in America, and around the world. It is the direct "competitor" to schluter metal edge systems, however bullnose provides a superior finish and style.
