A psychological feeling of mediocrity, despite affluence/success, due to comparing yourself to one's peers rather than the average person. Rich/successful people tend to move to areas with other rich/successful people, which disguises their success from others and themselves. This feeling may contribute to depression, existential crisis and/or apathy.
