Fuck is pretty fucking versatile. It can be used as An intransitive verb: "Lets Fuck." A transitive verb: "How did you fuck that up? An adjective: "That's Fucked." An adverb: "You are fucking beautiful." A noun: "I don't give a fuck." A pronoun: "What did that fuck say about me?" A reflexive pronoun: "Bob did that all by his fucking self." It also has a wide variety of meanings: To become intoxicated: "After work, I'm going to the bar to get fucked up." To be taken advantage of: "They fucked me on that deal." To have sex: "Bob fucked Sally." To perform poorly at a task: "He tried to change the tire, but he fucked it up." To assault someone: "Then Jim pulled out a baseball bat and fucked him up." To go away: "Fuck off." A small amount: "I don't give a fuck." A large amount: "He made a fuckload of money on that IPO and is living it up." To spend time wastefully: "Stop fucking around and get to work." To be broken: "I spilled a beer on my laptop and its completely fucked." A thing: "Hand me that fucker over there." A contemptible person: "What a motherfucker!" An admirable person: "What a motherfucker!" To be in a bad state: "The whole project was fucked from the word go." An interrogative: "What the fuck?" A positive exclamation: "Fuck yeah!" A negative exclamation: "Fuck!" The only other langage that I can curse with any degree of fluency in is Chinese, and I'm not familiar with any one Mandarin curse word that is as versatile as fuck.
