Your Definition
(adj.) The state of attempting to remain calm as the people around you act like fools. The physicality that goes along with "getting meek" consists of a judging or straight face accompanied by the distinct meek hand gesture which can be made by holding you hands out in front of you, just below your face, spreading your fingers, and touching the fingertips of your hands together. Meek originated in PG county, Maryland, but is widely known throughout the DC metro area and commonly used among high school students. The term has become most noticeably popular at The Madeira School since the actions of their students and administration regularly warrant getting meek.
