- feeling joy and an innate sense of pleasure from purposely deflecting from a given subject to a totally unrelated subject. Example: What Karl Rove did the night of the 2012 elections when he realized that republicans had lost the Presidency. He used republican math to deflect from the facts; which resulted in his deflecturbation -- an act that made him feel better but had nothing to do with reality.
