Phainting (Feyn-ting) is the practice of using slow shutter with or without a combination of camera movements to either isolate and create motion around a subject(s), or offer a study of subjects in motion for a painterly effect. A hybrid combination of photography and painting. Adjective, Phainting: Motion captured in camera by a slow shutter creating painterly style.
