A Transformer from the Generation 1 era of the franchise. He is a Decepticon triple changer, usually referred to as Tankor in the later years of the Transformers franchise. He is the Decepticon fueler, transforming into a tanker truck and a jumbo jet. In the Transformers comics, and as described in his toy bio, Octane is a rather mean and dishonest character, very hesitantly offering up any fuel he's stolen from gas stations or other tankers to his starving Decepticon peers and sending anyone he wishes crashing and burning in any direction. In the Transformers cartoon, however, he is portrayed as a more likable, funny, and even friendly character. Fangirls know him for his enjoyable personality and his good looks. He undoubtedly remains a selfish character at times, though.
